Varlam Aravidze, a high-ranking member of the Bolshevik Government is complicit in the death of thousands of innocent people during the period of repression. After many years Ketevan, daughter of the repressed parents, digs Varlam Aravidze out of his grave and tells her story to the dumbfounded society. Aravidze’s grandson Tornike learns the whole truth about his granddad’s deals. The conflict with his father and the unveiled truth bring Tornike to the decision to commit suicide.
