The film narrates about one of the most beautiful mountainous regions of Georgia – ultramontane Khevsureti. In this ethnographically interesting region, situated beyond the main range of the Caucasus, the ancient way of life is relatively intact and the villages with their tall watch-towers still look proudly over the gorges furrowed with the fast mountain rivers.
