Tengiz squanders the money that he was supposed to give to his lawyer and sells his identification papers to Lomidze, a runaway revolutionary. Lomidze gets arrested and the false ID papers lead police to Tengiz’s village. The peasants do not turn in the revolutionary. Lomidze gets freed from jail and goes abroad.
