There is a revolutionary mood on the Black Sea flagship. The standoff between the sailors and their officers is assuming more and more acute character. During one such conflict sailor Ersh throws Count von Vogel in the sea who jilted Ersh’s sister. He can no longer stay aboard the ship. Menshevik Avalov tries to defend the rights of the sailors. After the revolution, with the help of Ersh, Avalov returns home and starts life anew.
